The big bombshell of the week is the Trials Australia podcast ending, but there's also plenty of other news including TdN fundraising events.

I remember the very first voicemail/phone call I got from David Grice when he wanted to start the podcast and asked to use the TA name/website to initially launch it. It was Christmas Eve 2019 and he just wanted to "chat about a few things and some ideas I've got", nothing specific. The podcast launched in January 2020 and after 2 years of rounding up guests, doing interviews, bringing sponsors onboard, culminating with the 105th episode in April this year, I think the consensus is that it's been a resounding success and a positive force in the International Trials community. I spoke very briefly with David on Sunday at Mt Bolton and he told me the news before he put up his post. All I can say is I'm looking forward to the next ideas that you've got ā€” thank you mate!

If you have ideas for positively boosting the impact of Trials and I can help out in some way, reach out to me matt@trials.com.au and let me know how I can help.

There's a lot of TdN fundraisers on right now that the TdN team (including the minders/manager) and their respective clubs are running.

Chris Bayles and Jenna Lupo are running training at Mt Joy this weekend in Tassie. Online Entries through the TasTrials website.

Pacific Park Trials Club are running training and and event on 13th-14th August respectively. Entries will be up soon.

Trials Club of Victoria are running an event on August 21.
